Breast
Cancer Review for Primary Care Providers
Background
Originally developed for distribution by CDROM in
1998, the Breast Cancer Review underwent content updates in 2001 and 2004. The most recent and current
version, developed in 2007, represents further changes
to both content and format, which have been written
and designed for helping our visitors find the information
they are seeking more quickly and easily.
Description
Summary overviews are provided for nine main topic
areas (see left sidebar). Each topic is presented on
a single web page. All nine topic pages are accompanied
by a secondary web page of links to additional
Internet resources and current medical news. These
secondary pages are easily accessed from the main topic
pages or from the left sidebar.
The Breast Cancer Review can be browsed for reference by topic or navigated in its entirety
from beginning to end. Use the site Search feature
to quickly find text about specific areas of interest.
Providers are encouraged to utilize the Breast Cancer
Review on a regular and ongoing basis.
All content is reviewed periodically; the date of
review and/or update can be found at the bottom of
each page. For specific contributors and reviewers,
please see Acknowledgements.
