Clinical Breast Exam Training
The California Department of Public Health, Cancer Detection Section (CDS) sponsors a skills-based course for clinicians in California who provide breast cancer screening services for women. The course, CBE: Proficiency and Risk Management, was developed by national experts in breast cancer early detection in response to studies that report inadequate clinical breast exam training for physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
At this time, CDS is not offering regularly scheduled courses. If you are interested in obtaining training for yourself or your clinicians, please contact:
