CBE: Proficiency & Risk Management
Office Detail Method
A unique skills-based training performed right
in your own, or a nearby office setting! The Office Detail
Method offers the same content as the standard course
method, but consists of a prerequisite self-study component
followed by a skills practicum in your office.
Course Components:
- Self-Study:
- CBE Risk Management
- Anatomy and imaging
- Patient education and cancer risk assessment
- Plan of action for normal and abnormal CBE findings
- CBE technique: a video review
- Skills Practicum in Your Office :
- Instruction and practice of techniques on silicone
breast models to maximize lump detection and differentiation
- Practice CBE skills in an exam room with a Patient
Instructor and a Practicum Faculty, providing immediate
feedback.
- 4 Hours of Category 1 CME Credit
