CDS Programs
The mission of the Cancer Detection Section is to save lives and reduce the devastating effects of breast cancer and cervical cancer for all California women, with special emphasis on low income and ethnic minority women. The CDS program, Cancer Detection Programs: Every Woman Counts assists underserved women by working with local providers to offer free breast and cervical cancer screening examinations and diagnostic services to under-served women.
The CDS Programs section of this website
hosts information for providers enrolled in the Cancer
Detection Programs: Every Woman Counts.
