Every Woman Counts Program
| The Every Woman Counts (EWC) program offers free breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services. The program is funded through the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) from State of California tobacco tax revenue and federal grant monies. |

The mission of the EWC program is to save lives by preventing and reducing the devastating effects of cancer for all Californians through early detection, diagnosis and treatment, with special emphasis on the underserved. EWC assists underserved women by working with local providers to offer free breast and cervical cancer screening examinations and diagnostic services.
