Elissa Ellis-MacLeod, MA
Elissa Ellis-MacLeod, MA, is a Program Specialist for the Center for Cancer Quality Assurance and Professional Education (QAPE). Her primary responsibilities are website development and maintenance, and the development of content related to breast and cervical cancer. Before joining the staff, Ms. Ellis-MacLeod worked as a research consultant for the QAPE, and for other agencies and projects associated with the Graduate School of Public Health at San Diego State University. She has also worked as a project director for a large sample, longitudinal study of children and adolescents in San Diego County foster care, and has co-authored publications on placement patterns, mental health service use, minority populations in the child welfare system, and family reunification. Ms. Ellis-MacLeod received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Sociology from San Diego State University.
