Shannon Wineman , MPH
Shannon Wineman is Projects Manager for the Center for Cancer Quality Assurance and Professional Education (QAPE). She has a dual undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, from San Diego State University. At the QAPE, she oversees and helps coordinate projects designed to improve the quality of healthcare delivery for women participating in Cancer Detection Programs: Every Woman Counts. Prior to this, Mrs. Wineman worked for many years in the Health Promotion Department of SDSU’s Student Health Services, and as a Training Consultant for the Centers for Behavioral Epidemiology and Community Health. More recently, she presided over the Board of Directors of a school-based non-profit. She brings to the IPH a variety of experience, including work in college health practice and policy, sexual health, social skills training, adolescent health, healthcare policy, education and training.
